| Today's newsletter continues the series on List Building. | ||
Welcome to all the new members who joined our group during this last week. Some good news - the Newbies Help website is back online and all the archived issues are available again. Last week we went through the basic principles of list building. Today, we continue that theme and look at the various methods of generating your own niche specific list. The key to getting a good responsive list is to ensure that you tell them exactly what you are going to offer them in return for their name and email address. Whether it is a simple sign up to a newsletter, or a free report, ensure that they know what it is all about. Most importantly ensure that the opt-in is a confirmed type - i.e. a double opt-in. This will eliminate some of the freebie seekers, but it will also give you better protection with regard to the spamming laws. A short break for this week's sponsor. |

This week's Article Building your opt-in list starts with having a website that will persuade visitors to spend some time there. By doing that they will be more apt to sign up to your newsletter or offer.
Now that you have a means to add to your opt-in list by way of your website, you also need to build your list in other ways, especially if you don't yet have too many hits on your site. That takes time but by building your list you will increase them.
As you can see building your opt-in list need not be difficult. Use your imagination and I am sure that you can find many other means to get results. |
