Welcome to all the new members who joined our group during this last week. This week's contents:
1. This week's article In article marketing there is one task involved that can easily cause turmoil for any Internet Marketer, and that is the physical writing of an article. The very thought of sitting down and writing an article can be a very difficult thing for many people to do. It is not that they don't know their subject, but usually it is a case of having no confidence in transferring their thoughts and knowledge onto paper or into a word processor in such a way that it would be interesting to others. In actual fact, having some sort of system for planning the article can help gain the confidence necessary and good article writing skills will be developed quickly. Taking the fact that spelling and grammar can be auto checked by most of the word processors today, the basic requirements to get started is to create an outline of the article. There should be four elements to the article:
The introduction is a simple single paragraph that introduces the reader to the subject of the article. The concluding statement is also a simple single paragraph section that summarizes the discussion with a final conclusion offered for consideration. However, the discussion section is a little more complicated and needs to be further outlined in terms of what will be written and the sequence in which it will be written. This is where heading style sentences are useful. The main header will start the discussion. A typical example would be "There are many methods of doing .....". This main header is then followed by sub-headings. The sub-headings will break the subject matter down into smaller, manageable sections which will be sequenced in such a way as to continue the logical sequence through the section. Again, the examples of sub headings would be the individual methods referred to in the main header. In each of these sub-headings the discussion will be formulated with some point of view, or conclusion being suggested. In developing this section the flow of the discussion should follow a logical sequence as if you were talking directly to your audience. Many articles will outline a problem in the introduction, then provide a series of comments regarding the problem, probably arriving at a conclusion for each comment - good or bad. The trick is to discuss the comments in the sequence of improving the conclusions arrived at from the worst to the best. Since articles cover a very large variety of subjects the comments and conclusions can be very different from the example given, but the principle is still the same. That principle is to communicate to your audience in the simplest way possible and transfer the information to them simply and in a logical fashion. The title for the article should be finalized after completing the article itself. This is common sense as the best attention grabbing title can be developed only after the full article has been written. The physical writing is now completed, but the important subject keywords has not been mentioned. The introduction of keywords will have to be done for a successful article marketing project. This subject will be the subject of another article. Working in this manner will take the writer's block mentality away. Apply the process as outlined and your article writing will greatly improve and the fear of starting to write will disappear. 2. Researching your article subject can be made simple with this tool This is an excellent tool for researching any subject on the Internet. It is called The Search Automator Pro by Derek Franklin. Version 3 was released not long ago and it is more powerful than before. This is a tool that will take a keyword, and within seconds, turn it into a treasure-trove of Websites, eBooks, tutorials, resources, checklists, guides, tips, tricks, articles, MP3s, videos, images, and more. Use it to find your article content. I use this tool extensively in my business and I can recommend it as an excellent investment. Watch the video on the website and you will be amazed at the power of this tool. Check it out and see - 3. You can monetize your article pages on your website - take a look at Adsense. Would you like to monetize your article pages on your website? Or any other page for that matter. Google Adsense is the way to do it. Micheal Cheney makes a lot of money through Google Adsense and has a set of beginner's step by step videos that shows exactly the way to do it properly. He takes you through each step of the process while you look over his shoulder.Take a look at: 4. The weekly recommendation is a book by Rob Banwell entitled "Blogging to the bank". Many newcomers to Internet Marketing do not realize that the lowest cost business model is in fact a blog. This book by Rob Benwell is a second issue of the book which is brought right up to date with the latest technology and systems. It goes in great detail as to how to set up a blog and take all the steps to personalize it, then monetize it, and finally promote it. I have bought this book and read it and plan to apply the actions indicated to my own blog. There was a lot of discussion on the Warrior forum around the first issue of his book, and although some were very skeptical comments, almost everyone that tried the principles laid out had to agree that they worked very effectively. I suggest you visit the site and see it for yourselves: This week's tip. Do you offer a free email course in exchange for sign-up to your list? Then why not add an affiliate link into each email and call it a sponsor ad. Don't make it too long or flowery - short and sweet and to the point. I hope that this week's issue was of interest to you, and maybe you found something that would be helpful in your own business. If so, I would appreciate any feedback you may have so that I can align future content to better suit your needs.
